In January this year amidst the vibrant atmosphere of the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Sam Ellis, a participant of the 2022 My Voice My Journey program, took center stage as part of the Aboriginal Cultural Showcase.

 

This was Sam’s debut performance at the festival where she shared the stage with other exceptional First Nations musicians like Troy Cassar-Daley and Uncle Roger Knox. Her soulful performance captivated the audience, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.

 

Here at the My Voice, My Journey Program we are immensely proud of Sam and all her achievements, Her talent, dedication, and passion are a true testament to the spirit of what our program supports. We have no doubt that she will continue to shine under the spotlight in the future.
