In September 2024, a group from Walbunja-Yuin Country went on an epic 2 week journey north, all the way to Brisbane.

20 young leaders from Walbunja country embarked on a journey staying at Nelligen, seeing the Tent Embassy in Canberra, and through to Northern NSW via the culturally significant Three Sisters in the Blue Mountains. The end point was Stradbroke Island, where the participants were able to connect to Country and Culture, learning the traditional ways and stories from the Quandamooka people.

My Voice My Journey is a program designed to build confidence and resilience. During these journeys yarning and reflection circles were  conducted encouraging participants to reflect on the experiences they had and explore their own Cultural identity.
